Stairs

We have a half flight of stairs that lead right into the kitchen.  Callie loves sitting at the top of the stairs and watching what is happening in the kitchen.....she gets stepped on less this way.  But she sits so weird!!!  Always with her butt up on a higher stair than her front legs!!!

Behind Callie, you can see a baby gate.  That is the guest room, but the cats like to use it as a safe place away from Callie so we put the gate up.  You can see in the bottom right of the gate a cat watching Callie and I taking pictures.....

Leaf Blower

It is all fun and games until the leaf blower comes out....then it is attack time!!!!!

All is forgiven, Callie likes her Dad once again

Fall

It is officially fall at our house.

Callie just loves playing with leaves.

Come on Dad, throw the leaf pile you have.....throw it!!!

Sad Face

Oh no Callie, don't give me sad face....you know we can't resist when you look at us like that.  No, don't use the wrinkles to look even sadder....don't do it.......do you want a treat?  will a treat make you feel better?

 Oh yeah, a treat did it....back to being happy.

Callie thinks she is a human, she loves sitting on the patio furniture.

Here is Callie just staring at me while I am working....we can't just stop working to play Callie!  Poor thing.

Here is Callie sleeping while I am working.  You know she is really sleeping when her legs are jetting straight out.  Grandpa calls them rigamortis legs.  Callie usually sleeps like this at night in bed....with her super straight legs jetting into one if us.  Good luck trying to move the legs, those suckers are super straight and un-bendable!

 Callie is so tired after a fun weekend at Grandpa's.  Sleeping in a big pile of blankets is always the solution!

New Bone

As is our usual routine, we took Callie to the dog groomer to get her nails trimmed (it is so cheap to have them do it and they do it so well!!) and then we head across the street to the pet store.  Callie just loves it....plenty of treats and bones at dog height for her to pick out.  She knows the routine, all she has to do is lick the one she wants and her Dad will pick it up for her. 

Callie is trilled with her new bone, and can't wait to bring it into bed to check it out

Moving Offices Part 2

While Andrew was seeing up his computer, Callie and I had a blast drinking coffee and watching him run all his cables.

Moving Offices

Recently, we embarked on a plan to clean out our junk room.  After talking about it, we deiced that instead of having Andrew's computer in the living room, we would put it in one of the extra bedrooms.  Then, during that conversation, I decided I wanted the back room as my office....so we embarked on the weekending long project.

Callie as always was a big help.

Um, Callie, its not that big of a help if you sit on the couch we are trying to move....

Okay, what I meant was, get off the couch....not to lay down instead of sit....

After hours of trying to fit a couch down the narrow hallway and into the office.....we finally did it!!!

For my mother, here is my office before (well, after we did the junk room clean out....)

And my new office after!!  Woohoo, gotta love two windows!

After arranging my new office, Callie and I sat down and watched Andrew move his computer and run all his cables. 

Packing!

My conversation with Callie while we were packing to go visit Grandma and Grandpa.....

Me : "Callie!!  We are going to Grandpas!!"

Callie : No Way!!!  Really??!?!

Me:  "Do you want to bring any toys"

Callie runs away, brings back a toy and puts it on my backpack

Me:  "Okay, we can bring that.  Anything else?"

Callie runs and grabs another toy, puts it next to the overnight bag

Me:  "Alright, we are all packed Callie, are you ready to go?"

Callie then gives me the biggest smile.  She just loves going to Grandpas!
