Park Time With Dad!

It has been so hot lately....and Callie only likes it hot when she is playing at Grandpa's in the lake.

But on Wednesday, it was so nice out and Callie was thrilled to be able to run around and play!

"Come on guys....faster, keep up!"

When Callie saw the pond, she jumped right in.  She does get sad and whines when Andrew can't come in with her and splash.

Woohoo, Cider, Puggle and Shaker are here to play....or not, they are not very playful that is okay though, Callie just likes to sniff them anyway

Water Aerobics!!

I have no idea why we didn't think of this before....but for the first time....we did water aerobics in the lake!! 

Callie had a blast playing with us.

We did are water aerobics on the sand bar so Callie could touch, but most of the time she swam next to us while we pranced around in circles.

July 26th - Swimming with Bailey

The summer of Callie continues with yet another trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

The firepit is always a good place to find some fetchin' sticks

"Grandpa!!  I brought a football for us to play with in the water!!  Hurry up, lets go!!"

"Grandpa, stop throwing the football, walk faster to the water!!"

 "You are almost there Grandpa, just a few more steps:"

The neighbor dog Bailey came over to play, Callie was not amused.  Poor Bailey just wanted to swim and say Hi, but Callie got upset whenever Bailey got close to Grandpa

"No Bailey, that is my Grandpa, get your own Grandpa"

Callie kept escorting Bailey out of the water, but Bailey kept jumping right back in

Finally Callie's herding abilities worked and Bailey went to go play in her own yard.  Bailey is too old to put up with Callie's puppy'ness and decided it was not worth the trouble of following Callie's swimming rules.
